About me
Dear Alfie Ceramics began with a simple desire to create pieces that bring a sense of calm into everyday life.
I’m Savannah, the maker behind each piece. What started as a creative outlet quickly became a quiet ritual, time spent working with clay, embracing its unpredictability, and finding beauty in forms that are perfectly imperfect.
Every item is made slowly and intentionally in small batches from my studio in Sydney. No two pieces are exactly alike, and that is part of their story. I lean into natural textures, soft movement, and earthy glazes so each piece feels grounded, timeless, and meant to be lived with.
The name Dear Alfie is inspired by my English Cocker Spaniel, Alfie, a gentle and joyful presence who reminds me daily to appreciate the slower moments. That spirit carries into my work: objects designed for morning matcha, shared meals, burning incense at dusk, or simply pausing for breath between the rush of daily life.
My hope is that these pieces become part of your rituals at home, used often, loved deeply, and kept for years to come.
Thank you for being here and for supporting handmade.
